Plain language, because you're busy: we collect what the product needs to work, we store it in Canada, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
Account: your email address and the name you choose to give us.
Interview material: your résumé (the file and its extracted text), job descriptions you paste, your interview audio recordings, transcripts, and the scores and feedback we generate.
Usage:product events (like “interview started”) tied to your account ID so we can fix what's broken and see what's used. No advertising trackers. We also visually record app sessions (pages, taps, scrolling) to fix confusing screens — anything you type and your interview content (transcripts, feedback, résumé details) is masked or blocked in these recordings before they leave your browser.
Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we keep only the purchase record (pack, amount, status).
Recording consent
Every interview call is recorded so you can replay it and so we can generate your transcript and feedback. We tell you before every call starts, and starting the call is your consent. Don't want a call recorded? Don't start it — there's no unrecorded mode, because the replay and scoring are the product.
Where your data lives
Everything we store — account, résumés, recordings, transcripts, scores — lives at rest in Canada (our database and file storage run in the ca-central-1 region).
Real-time processing happens through US providers. During a live call, your audio and transcript pass through the services that make the interview work: Vapi (call infrastructure), Deepgram (speech-to-text and voice), and Anthropic (the AI interviewer and scoring). They process this data to provide the service in real time; we don't persist your data anywhere except our own Canadian storage.
How long we keep it
While your account exists. Email support@recruitercall.com from your account address and we'll delete your account and everything attached to it — recordings, résumés, transcripts, the lot.
Who can see your results
Only you — unless you create a share link. Share pages show your first name (or “Anonymous”), the role, and your scores. Never your transcript, feedback, or résumé. You can revoke a share link anytime and it stops working immediately.
What we'll never do
Sell your data. Use your résumé or recordings to advertise to you. Show your transcript to anyone but you. Claim our AI feedback is “unbiased” — it's structured and consistent, which is different and honest.
